DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR CUTENESS. It is just a ploy to catch you off your guard. They will feign injury or fright, and then leap up to attack you the minute you try to help them. They are truly creatures of plot.
They tend to travel in packs, so that they can surround you and eat you. They use the above strategy to draw you in, and while you're helping the so-called "hurt" penguin, they attack. A TIP: Penguins hate kiwis. Eating lots of kiwis before entering penguin inhabited areas can help. Hopefully, they'll taste the kiwi before eating too much of you. You might even escape alive.
Even the smallest of penguins are plotters, in fact, studies have shown that eating a certain kind of arctic koala can induce plotting and intense battle strategy in the youngest of penguins.
